Pav Bhaji Recipe
Pav Bhaji is a popular Indian street food that consists of a spicy vegetable curry (bhaji) served with soft bread rolls (pav).
Ingredients:
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (potatoes, peas, carrots, capsicum)
- 1 cup finely chopped onions
- 1 cup tomatoes, chopped
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons pav bhaji masala
- 1 tablespoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves for garnishing
Instructions:
- Boil and mash the mixed vegetables.
- In a pan, heat butter and add cumin seeds.
- Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add chopped tomatoes, pav bhaji masala, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
- Add the mashed vegetables and mix well. Cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Toast the pav with butter.
- Serve the bhaji with pav and lemon wedges.
